does my lot reduced stars?

Well, including my experience, i dont think our presence or absence affecting our star... because just like your case, im also absence or not presence since about three weeks ago, because of network connection...yet my star is eight was and today when im back online its become nine. and i believe its because someone has rated me (+) and or gave my comment as the best respond on one of their discussion. hope it helps!

Your reputation rating point is presently 47 and that's why you see your star rating as 5... when your reputation rating is between 46 to 55, your star rating will be shown 5... to see your myLot reputation rating point, just place your mouse pointer over your star, you can see it... you said, your star rating was 6 before, that implies your reputation rating point was between 56 to 65, implying your reputation rating point dropped by at least 9... that's a huge drop indeed... recently, my myLot reputation rating dropped by 5 points and consequently star rating by one... i was not also very active for few days... that means, inactivity may be one of the reasons for dropping the rating... some of my myLot friends suggested, Discussion Ratings System (DRS) is the sole reason for increasing or decreasing the myLot reputation... this discussion of yours made me read the FAQs once again and I found, "Your myLot Reputation rating takes into account various factors including the Discussion Ratings System (DRS)"... this implies Discussion Ratings System is not the sole factor but one of the factors influencing the myLot reputation... so, in your case like mine, reputation rating might have dropped for our inactivity... happy myLotting...

It states in the FAQ that your DSR is directly related to your earnings, so in a word yes it will affect your earnings. To get your star back up try giving good quailty responses, avoid discussions to do with religon and abortion that type of thing as some people can be malicious. Just try your hardest and things will be all well and good and you will be at a 10 before you know it. Think quality!
