Thumbs up, I love Narnia. When I was a kid I lived and breathed Narnia. We had all the books read to us, and I read them myself a few times. We had the old BBC movies that our parents made us watch whenever we were rowdy. We also had the focus on the family radio dramas (Which are AWESOME, by the way), which we would listen to all the time. I really love the stories. I think my favorite is Horse and His Boy, but I would put The Last Battle directly after that one.

Which movies? The BBCs or the recent ones? Cause I liked the BBC ones when I was a kid, but nowadays I think they really suck. Aslan was a puppet. :( As for the Walden Media ones that came out recently, I really enjoyed the first one. It was almost as good as the book for me. The second (Prince Caspian) was okay... but they changed a lot of the things from the book that I didn't like. I think the best adaptations of the books are Focus on the Family's radio dramas.

hi again friend....... i thanks to you for responding and i agree with your answer , but this changes were due to demand of film......i think you are not getting it i can explain you....this movie was decided to do as in books but unfortunately one of the invester told that if movie is made same sa book it will not have any twist and it will not get any hit quality.therefore all have decided to make change in some scenes to make it hit......this is reason for why movie is not as it is in book........please give me your opinion how you feel from my comments. i am waiting please reply as soon as possible.........your friend always with you ..........khan.

I loved the books the first time I read them, I managed not to see the religious over/undertones even though they are very clear, especially in the last books. I liked the films too, and I saw the BBC series on the telly when I was a kid.

No, that's not what I said, I just said I loved them when I was a kid :-) I reread them before I saw the film in the cinema and I still like them, but as much as when I was a kid. I think it's mainly the language I think it's bit too childlike, not what happens. I really liked the parts of the film, nearly more so than I like the books. Happy mylotting!

Thumbs up, I love the chronicles since I first read it more than 2 decades ago, when I was very young. I am so glad they finally made a good movie out of it. C.S.Lewis is not just a great writer, but a genius philosopher as well. His chronicles not only entertain, but its like a parallelism to God's great plan of salvation.
