We all love to get a good number of responses for all our discussions but not always seem to have it. I was just wondering what that god number will be for different people. When you start a discussion, what is minimum number of responses you desire? What is the number that satisfies you? Do post in your responses.Thank you.

I haven't really started a whole lot of discussions. I can't really think of what other people might want to talk about, but when I do start a discussion I don't really think about how many responses I might get. I'd like to get a lot but it really doesn't matter. As long as I get more than two.

If there is a couple of responses, then obvious there is some interest for the subject and that pleases me greatly. Obviously I would like a bit more response so I can see a vast variety of opinions on the subject. Still, any responses would be a great success and I would appreciate it. There is nothing more disheartening to post a topic and get no feedback. That can cause a hit to the old morale.

the more the merrier. it is nice to see when members are interested with a certain discussion you started. it is nice to read what they can say about it and it is nice to know what are their opinions and their perceptions. but sometimes what you feel is a good discussion does not work out that way with others. i am happy to see 10 responses on a discussion of mine. but if i get 2 or more then it is okay. that would be better than nothing at all.

I really never thought about it, as I am just glad to get responses. I think if I get at least 1, I feel that maybe I have accomplished something. I really don't start all that many discussions, because I have hard time coming up with a good topic, one that users are interested in responding to. I would just rather post responses to other discussions. I don't have to think that much as it just comes naturally to me to respond to users discussions. I will have to admit, that all the discussions I have started, have responses to them, so I am glad for that, but for now, I will only start discussions once in awhile and just respond to others discussions. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I really don't have a minimum number.I appreciate all the responses I get,as long as people are nice about it,when they don't agree.I've a couple people tell me their opinion in a mean way, which is when I report them, then their response gets deleted.I don't expect people to agree with me,it's just the way some people will tell you.I try to comment back on whoever responds.I'm even happy at tiimes to get one answer.

I think I would like to have at least 20 responses. The best I did garnered 56 responses. It took a while responding to all those who made responses but I did finished it all. Some to add further comments, or just to say thank you. I think 20 is a good number. To say that your discussion is interesting enough, but not too tiring to respond to all responders.
