What is the currently highest currency being used in the world? and why? Can you give me some background about it?

I think its sterling..UK pound ..Its higher than Euro a lot. Euro has almost goes in line with too many country but never with Sterling pounds. Happy Lotting..

I have worked at world notes for a period of time and its sterling whose leading the world currency in world exchange rate..You was asking about the highest currency value and so am saying its sterling pound, if we are talking about the the currency visibility, i go for USD its almost having it used all over the world and euro itself doing good for exchange rate value.All currency never get stable in value.It change from time to time depending in the economy progress in one country.
