I tend to like new stuff, but sometimes the older songs are better. It seems that most of the music coming out today just doesn't have meaning and they are just the same old stuff repeated over and over. I like my songs to be more than about a girl a guy loves or vice versa and, while many of them are really good, songs like "Fire On The Mountain" (Rob Thomas or Hanson - two different songs, same meaning, both AWESOME!) that talks about humans destroying when we should try to fix what we've done. Great songs that have real meaning behind them. Hallelujah!

hi there! I actually like some of the music we have right now but honestly, I love old songs more. Particularly the 80's and 90's song.

I can't give one answer to the question. It depends on an artist. For example: I like Red Hot Chili Peppers, I prefer newer songs from their discography. There have been great change in style during the existence of the band. I also listen to System of a Down and Linkin Park. In that case, I like older songs of these artists more. But I also listen sometimes to older artists like James Brown or something. So yea, it depends on a song, and on artist.

For me i like both songs but it really depends on the type of music and really what I am feeling that day. One day ill love hangingaround-counting crows. Next day ill love boom boom pow-black eyed peas. Its all a mood thing for me
