Do you think vomitting is funny?

In high school, I watched "Supersize Me" in my health class. At the part where the host or experiment subject or whatever you want to call him, threw up out the car window, one girl in the class started cracking up. The rest of us were saying "ewww" and making faces. For a long time I found watching other people vomit extremely repulsive and made my feel sick myself. I watched the season premiere episode of the Biggest Loser this week, and at the part where everyone started throwing up, I started lauging! I was surprised at myself for finding it funny. I think it was mainly from the gagging sounds they made, and because they didn;t actually show the vomit coming up. w

I guess it could create a funny moment in some cases, but for the most part the vomit gag in comedy is overdone, and rarely that funny to me anymore. As for real life moments it can be comical, but it never is, If it's happening to you. Actually in my case I will do almost anything to avoid vomitting. It is one the few things that humans do from time to time that seriously frightens me. The reason is when its happening I can't breath, and feel as if I am sufficating, and that is a very scary feeling to experience. Not to mention the stomach acid you have in your mouth and throat afterwards. Just overall something I try to avoid at all costs.

Clearly, you have never laughed so hard that you've started vomiting. I actually highly recommend this sort of experience. It is wonderful to laugh that hard, and you will never think of vomiting in the same way again.

I think I might have found it funny at certain times before. These days I am just disturbed. Especially if the vomiting is happening to me. It just is not that funny at all. Still, there are times where its portrayed in media, its so over the top that it gets dangerously close to funny. Still for the most part, I am disturbed. Ninety nine point nine times out of a hundred in fact.

Vomiting is hilarious! Haven't you seen that Family Guy episode where they all drink Ipecac? Hilarious! Gross as well, but also hilarious.

Obviously, its not at all funny. In movies, it does look funny depending upon the situation. But in really like no one I know feel funny about vomitting. I always yuks if you are the vomitter or you are the audience. As a part of mannerism, one should not show that yuks expression on the face of that person. It really feels bad and even that person knows that no one would like to see you vomitting. So, just help that person if you can and give him a water and please......! never laugh on them.

It depends on a situation. You know, when you see those Jackass guys doing something stupid to summon vomiting, then it looks funny. But if someone is casting up due to his/her disease or something and doesn't feel well, then it isn't funny at all, because the person is suffering.

I consider it gross no matter what the situation is. Seeing all those fluids and everything that goes with is not a funny sight. Well, i'll consider it funny as long as i don't see anything coming out and of course if its vomit from my kids. Cheers!

Laughing is just a normal instant reaction when our conscious mind will come across something not usual. For me vomitting is not funny since its very disgusting especially when caused by excessive drunkness, and I consider it a serious matter when due to sickness or bad mood in a trip or whatever.

I might have laughed at it when I was a child, but I can't remember. I sure don't think it is funny now. It's not so great when stomach fluids come up the esophagus. Sometimes we have to make the best of it though. About 2 years ago I was holding my very young granddaughter on my lap and she upchuck. It was winter outside and for a moment, but just for a moment, the upchuck felt good and warm. That was a very quick passing moment though!
