I saw Avatar in 3D. Was thinking how kewl would it be to also be able to get movies like Avatar on TV in 3D. How long do you it will be before it actually is a reality?

I'm not sure how long it will take but I bet it will happen. Someone on here was complaining earlier about the spending time making a tv like that when they could be making other things better. So it may be that they are already working on creating a tv that can show 3d. I think it would be really cool as long as it wasn't all the time. but if you could switch it to 3d mode when you wanted to that would be awesome.

I was thinking it would be more like in the movies. People would own 3D glasses. A certain channel would broadcast in 3D all the time. You would simply switch to the 3D network and watch the current offering.
