Valentine' Day

Well I am sure that a lot of people know that Valentine's Day is coming up soon, in fact it is just around the corner. I am trying to surprise my husband with a romantic dinner and movie at our home. I have gathered a bunch of candles, and arranged with the in-laws to take the children for the night. I am really looking forward to this Valentine's Day because last year my husband had to work so it was just me and the girls. I guess it's not as bad as what happens to my friend on Valentine's Day every year.... She has her birthday over looked. You see my friend's birthday happens to be on Valentine's Day and so most times, her birthday gets forgotten or mushed together with Valentine's Day. I am not sure if that would be such a bad thing since aside from the chocolates and candy, she gets presents too, but she always tells me that she doesn't like it or celebrate much. What about you? Any special plans for your loved one this year? What did you do last year?

Well we kept it simple last year as we got married the month before. I think we did movie and dinner at home. I don't know what is happening this year as money has been tight but knowing my husband, every V-day he has something up his sleeve. It will be double time because our first wedding anniversary is this sunday and then a few weeks later V-day lol. I think the little things like candy, dinner, and a movie are great. I wouldn't mind if he took me to Olive Garden or one of my favorite restaurants. He knows I am not picky.
