Hi mylotters, There are many healthy benefits we get from eating oatmeal. One of them, it reduces high cholesterol level in the body. How about you? Do you know other beneficial effects this contribute for our body for a healthy living? Thanks for your responses!

i find that many foods has its nutrition value. everybody's need is different,so they want to realize what they want and eat healthy food.as for me.i hope that i can keep weight and keep young and keep healthy.i often eat low heat food to keep weight.i hope that i keep young,i often keep good sleeping and go sleeping early.i want to keep health.i often do exercise.this is beneficial effects for my body.

Hi Gebercibe. The first thing that popped into my mind was that it was a nice source of fiber, and I see a number of other respondents have said that. Ok, let us mention potassium that it contains. Along with all of these, it's mighty good hot on a cold winter day.

I believe that oatmeal is high in fiber but to be honest I never thought about the benefits of it, I just really really like it, I have ever since I was little. I like every flavour peaches and cream, sugar and spice, maple and brown sugar, apples and cinnamon and even plain oatmeal with spoonfuls of brown sugar.

Just like other source of high fiber rich foods, it helps our bowel movement easier and regularly. It also cleanses our internal organs (stomach and intestines) of the toxins easily. Though I rarely eat oatmeals but I do eat other fiber rich food especially banana.

Oatmeal is indeed very healthy for young and old alike. It is much better if you eat the plain and not the one with flavors. Oatmeal reduces toxic in the body and it has cancer fighting properties. It helps our digestion because of the fiber content. It also lessen the rick of heart attacks. The best thing that there is, you will eat oatmeal with milk. Milk is very good for the body and bones. I always make sure that oatmeal is included at my push cart when I go to grocery.
