I hate the winter months. It has been 3-4 degrees here for over a week and it is just plain cold. Froze our water a week ago and having to haul water just to do normal everyday activities. Do you save your milk jugs water jugs, laundry soap or bleach bottles? Might be smart to I started saving them a couple of years ago and my husband said no so I stopped saving them and burnt most of them, sure wish I had saved them full of water. When I was with my last husband I had to haul water once or twice a week. I even had rain barrels set up on the back porch so I could be able to take a bath wash dishes and even do my laundry. Well this past week our water froze wish I had something set up like that here. I will as soon as this snow thaws. But don't figure that will be soon. So which season could you live with or without? Do you think you could haul water if you had too? Would you have the jugs saved up full of water?

Here, water freezes maybe once a year when the stars aline, but only small puddles of water and they melt by the afternoon. Of course it typically doesn't get below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. But I hate the cold and anything below 50 degrees is cold for me, so I could do without winter too. My favorite season is the spring. I like it when it starts warming up and all the flowers bloom. Plus the rain. I love rain.

Hi Ally. I don't like the cold but I could live where it stays at 50 degrees. I could put on a little more clothing but still not be bound up in layers of clothing. Just looked on the weather and it is only going to get up to 8 degrees in the morning. Looks like we will be hauling water for another week. I am so sad I hate this freezing cold. I can't wait till spring either got a lot of lillies planted several flowers but I love it when I get in a bunch of them at once. I can cut most of them and still have flowers all through the season.

Well I'm used to the summer weather where it can get up to 100 degrees, so 50 degrees is pretty cold for me. I haven't gone outside in days. It's been hovering around 20-30 degrees lately. Yesterday morning there was ice on the roads. I hope you're able to thaw out sometime! Spring will be here in about four months, so you don't have a horribly long amount of time to wait. Good luck hauling that water!

Hi Ally. Never thought of it in the terms of 100 degrees and then 50 being cold. Our summers haven't been more then 90 degrees during the day time. So you can see that it being only 3-4 degrees that it is like you cold at 50 degrees. I have been to Las Vegas several times when it was 116 degrees and you could fry an egg on the side walk. But I love the warmth if I get too warm I can always put cool water on me and feel good. I am thankful that God is going to let it be almost 19 today and 32 tomorrow. I can hardly wait till spring gets here even though that is when the snakes ticks fleas and all kinds of critters comes back it will be worth it to have the warmth.

I should count myself lucky to live in tropical climate where the sun smiles throughout the year. It only rains occasionally during the monsoon season. But living in a hot climate is not all rosy. Right now we are experiencing drought season. The scourging heat is like living in the Sahara Desert. When the air outside is too hot, it makes me sweat a lot and going out means getting sunburned. So I stay indoors most of the time with the fans switched on to maximum. We live in total opposite, the winter might be harsh but it is not as terrible as the heat that we are suffering here.

Hi Zandi. I guess we all have our complaints about the weather. I guess if I lived where it was hot all the time I wouldn't like it either. I just have been sick of not being able to work outside. You can only do so much inside. Oh well thank God we live where we each live and have what we have. I wouldn't want to live where it was too hot to adventure outside. I love working in my flower beds building stuff and mowing the yard. I hate being stuck in the house all winter. Thank God it is almost over for us and we have been able to get out and work in the flower beds this past week. Hope it gets better for you and you can get out of the house soon. Have a great day Zandi.

Hi Moneydoner and welcome to my lot. I do love Autumn it is beautiful to see the leaves change colors. The reds oranges and yellows is so beautiful. I see the power of God in every season though. The spring with the flowers coming out of the ground and seeing the beauty of each flower wow. I just had some flowers blooming last week and it was a beautiful site to see them just coming fresh out of the ground. Thanks Money hope you have a great day.

I hate winter! the only thing I like about it is Christmas but even then where I live it rarely gets cold around that time. But here lately they keep saying we are in an arctic blast. It is so cold and I can't stand it! Your face hurts if you go outside and you stay there for a while. I don't like summer here too much either because it gets so so hot! You can't even hardly breathe in the summer here! I like the spring the most! he temperature is just right where you can open all your windows and don't have to worry about a huge electirc bill! And you can breathe much easier in the day and night time. I love the spring! I also love it when it storms as long as I am at home or inside somewhere safe! In the fall I like to see the changing colors on the trees but that's about all I like of that season. So I would have to say my favotite season is spring!

Hi Jahernandezrivas. I love all seasons but hate the cold months because we do a lot of work outside all year around and you just can't stand to be outside in this cold. I think the most that I hate about the winter it has snow sometimes and it makes it impossible to do even daily chores. I love the spring when it is still cool in the mornings and evenings. We don't use heat in the bedroom we like it cool when we sleep and this year we had to put a little electric heater in the bedroom. Neither of us could sleep under an electric blanket we just couldn't stand it too hot.

I used to like the winter, because of the snow and the certain crispness of the air. But now, almost all of the snow is dirty or in the form of city slush. Now the snow just half-melts into a dark puddle on the floor which is hard to navigate through. It is very inconvenient. Now, I don't like the winter very much. The water is not a problem because it doesn't really ever freeze. I don't like any season in particular, but I would prefer autumn or spring, because they are more subtle and don't have such drastic hot/cold weather. They are much more comfortable.

Hi Merlinsorca. I never have really liked the winter we walked to school and it wasn't fun then. We had some fun when I was growing up and playing in the snow but it has always been cold. I do love the spring and the fall cause it seems like one is bringing in the new and one is letting the old die away so the new can come in.And you are right they are more comfortable seasons.

Hi free_man, I hate the autumn. Because when autumn wind blowing and the leaves falling, I will fell sad and desolate. I don't know why I have this kind of feeling. Maybe I was born in the fall. When we are born, we will experence suffering. I like the spring best, because the spring will bring us the hope. For the winter, I think it's OK. We use tap water in daily life. In the winter, the water doesn't be frozen, because we have heating radiators in the house. When I sat in the warm room and looked at the waving snow outside of the window, which warmed the cockles of my heart.

Hi Silindaxu and welcome to my lot. I love the autumn it is like shedding the old and letting the tree rest for awhile so when spring comes it brings on the new life within. I hate the freezing cold now if it didn't get so cold that you can't even walk outside to get the mail then it wouldn't be so bad. Today the high will be 18 it has been as low as 3 degrees for the last week and just near impossible to even get outside. We have had our water pipes freeze last week and have had to haul water it is so cold when hauling the water you had to get the jugs right in the house so they wouldn't freeze. So this is why I am hating this winter.

Winter is a killer for me. Lots of cold weather, snow, and ice, being confined indoors because its too unbearable to go outside. I also cannot go for a walk outside, so that's not a good thing. On a more positive note, I really like Spring. The joy that Winter is done and the fact that the weather is warmer, but not too hot. The happiest medium and about the best time of year. That and the fact my birthday falls during the Spring, so that could be another reason. Winter is not all bad but its definitely not my favorite season.

My rhinitis hates extreme temparature. Too humid, i get headache and neck pain. Too cold, i get stuffy nose and sore throat. I'm ok ,no worries,i have lived with my rhinitis like living with coffee every morning hehe. Going back to seasons, i love summer and spring. But i like spring most.Just the sound of it is refreshing to the mind. Talk about spring ,and u can almost hear birds singing..waterstreams flowing..flowers starting to bloom. Ahhh and u can feel the smell of nature filling the air.

Hi Lipstick and welcome to my lot. I am glad you are used to your rhinitis and can handle what comes along. I on the other hand have never even had a cold and think it would really bother me if I felt the way you feel in this kind of weather. I love the spring too and it because of all the things you mentioned.I love seeing the flowers that we planted in our yard come up. I love hearing the birds singing. I can hardly wait to see and hear all these miracles that God brings to life each spring.

I hate winter too. I used to love it when I lived in New Hampshire, but honestly, when your in the South, and there isn't even any snow, there isn;t any point to being cold. The winter makes me want to move down to the equator, its miserable. And too, my family has so little heating in our house, we all end up in the living room where its warmest, and sleeping on the floor in our parent's room because they have a heater that works in there too. If we had snow, I would love winter. I wouldn't mind being so cold if I could go outised and ski or sled, but when its too cold to do anything else, and there never is snow, there is just absolutly no good reason for the cold.

Hi Joelle and welcome to my lot. I love New Hampshire it is a beautiful place. How far south are you? I didn't know there was a place that didn't get snow. I think that if it was nice enough to ski it would be okay but it has only been 3-9 degrees for a week now I don't know about you but I don't want to be anywhere that I feel like my fingers are going to fall off. We have heat but seems like this place isn't insulated enough to keep the cold all the way out. We have a heater in the bedroom but like to sleep with it pretty cool, but this last week we have had the heater on and lots of blankets. I wish your house was warmer so you all could sleep in your bedrooms and be comfortable. It isn't a good thing being stuck in the house and not able to do much of anything. I hope things gets better and if they be Gods will they will get better.

I hate freezing weather the most. In winter if I stay in the freezing air for more than 1 hour I can get my ear, fingers and toes hurt. Once they get hurt they can not recover until the next spring. Terrible! I have been suffering this mistery for at least 20 years (I am 25 now)! So winter is the season I hate most although I love snow very much. Spring is my favorate, it is moderate and all the trees and grass get green. I love the temperature and the light green so much. Fall is also moderate but leaves begin to drop and green color fades, not very good. Summer is too hot, which I also don't like. In a word, I love spring and hate winter!!

Hi Song and welcome to my lot. Don't sound good to get that cold. I hate the winter too but I love seeing the snow far away. I love to take pictures but when it is cold it runs my batteries to my camera down in just an hour so I don't get many pictures this time of the year.

Hi Sketch and welcome to my lot. How is it that you have never seen snow? Where in the world do you live? It is a good thing when your young and can sled and play in the snow and not feel the aches and pains that you feel when your older. I don't care what anyone ever tells you believe me the grass isn't always greenier on the other side of what you have. Be thankful that God gave you what you have. I was one that always thought that the grass was better in someone eleses back yard. I have been there and done that sort of situation but never found anything any better then what I already had in my life. When I was younger I was foolish now that I am older I am happy with what God gives me daily. So be happy with what you have and don't envy anyone.

Hi Amanda and welcome to my lot. The winter here in Missouri is miserable this winter. We have had snow for a week now and only about 3-4 degrees so going out isn't a good thing. Especially having to haul water during this snow. I am sorry you have such hot summer but at least you can take off most of your clothing during the summer and swim but but during this snow I can't put on enough clothing and still move around. This is why I hate the winter I have to put on layers of clothing to stay warm.

Really with you on this one. I am a big fan of warmer weather. The change of seasons is beautiful, but the beauty comes with some inconveniences like shovelling snow, freezing rain, and car engines that won't start. I totally understand the water situation. Freezing is so hard on the pipes. We once had the water freeze in the washing machine pipes and instead of the water draining out, it began draining into the laundry room and was a huge flooding mess by the time we turned it off. But the bright side is that spring always comes.
