Are you a well-organized person who often make week plans, month plans or even annual plan or longer plans? I am not. But now I am thinking about doing this. It helps us to keep our money and know where our money goes to, it records how we spend each day, a waste of time of another day or a well-spent day. Ok, I am gonna take out a big notebook writing down what I am doing each day. good luck to you

Hi magic, No I do not make any regular plan for anything. I just do things my way and so far all is going good. I think of making and writing out plans but it has not worked so far. I feel life is better this way.

hi,yogambal, yeah I know it is very painful to write down every day activity and plan many things ahead, but it really helps. I guess many successful people have this habit.

no, i don't. my bf always asked to make a plan, explain to me why i should make one, how i can benefit from it, blablah.... his nagging makes me impatient. plan can't catch up with changing. i made some plans before, but i can't stick to it. i've never fulfilled my plan for a single time. this really makes frustrated. maybe that's because i'm lazy, not good at self-control, so i can't do things as planned. certainly i know the advantage of planning ahead, and now it's the beginning of this year, i can try to make a new year resolution.

Yes, I do have my yearly to monthly and weekly planner. This is helpful for me. It made me aware of the my goals and plans for this year. I have been doing this for almost 3 years already. It fitted for my ways to budget time and other things in life.

Hi Magic, yes I do put plans for my vacation and shopping, The best thing is you will know how much you are spending and saving money. Its always better to plan everything properly. Even when I go for shopping, after coming home, I take my notebook to note down all the expenses which I did. You will have an idea abt our expenses.

To be honest, I am hopeless at making plans, especially long-term ones. I tend to take each day as it comes and not worry too much about things. That's not to say I've never worried about anything but, in my experience, becoming too stressed out (especially over finances) is self-destructive and gets me nowhere emotionally. Having said that, I think I would have made provisions for later on in life if I'd had children..you know, some kind of trust fund for them. But, since I have no children I've no savings. I tend to save once I'm in work, for things like holidays and stuff for the house, but I don't have Life Insurance and I've not made a Will. No point. Once I do get a job I will help hubby out more, that's a definite plan of mine.
