Are you proud of your country when it hits some records?

I don't feel strongly proud of my country except during some big events, for example the 2008 Olympic Games. As I grow older, I feel that I lose this passion day by day. Just now I read a headline which still lights me up----China has overtaken Germany as the world's largest exporter by value.

Hi! I'm from Philippines. :) And I'm proud of it. You may have heard of some awful news about my country recently. IT's so sad that our country's condition is getting worst by the minute. But I have faith that my beloved country will rise up again. Despite the bad things going on, I'm still proud to be a Filipino. Philippines (despite the fact that we're a third world country)is a very rich country - rich history, rich in its resources, and Filipinos are very astounding people. I believe that behind all these bad things going on, there's a great nation. A nation waiting to wake up and rise back to its feet. And I can;t wait for that to happen. I know and I believe we will rise up again :) You should be proud of who and what you are because there is no mistake why you are there and why you were made to be who you are. Everything has a reason and a purpose :) raise your head up and be proud! ^_^

I proud of it... If you don't feel it,- just what will happen to the country that its citizen don't play the role to support their country...

Sometimes, yes I do. I think it's good to pay attention to what's going on in ones country. People often pay lots of attention to the bad, and not much at all to the good things.
