When riding a plane my mom always chose the windows seats because she love that place and she's used on it. So while we're on board on domestic airline and looking for our seats, there's the woman who seats my moms place, so I asked her politely what's her seats number? Then she irritably replied her seats number and letter. I was taken aback with her caustic reply. Then I told her that she's sitting on the wrong place, but my mom punch my back as means to stop me. And the lady just ignore what I said, as if like she didn't hear anything. So for my moms sake I shut up and sit down.
I was thinking if you had also experienced the same thing? Do you mind your seats?

i know of a country where people like to seat near the windows, even in buses, cars and yes airplane! hahaha... they like the scenery.. something new, something nice to the eyes, something we appreciate, something we don't have. if you came from this country, you should understand why they take the seat near the window because i also came from this beautiful place. :-)

On a plane I always like to get a window seat and have a view not blocked my the airlines wing. I have seen the pyramids of Egypt, the reef of the Maldives and its islands plus Sydney Harbor from plane windows. One time the airline had booked the seat I was in twice. I got the seat given to me by the member of airline staff. The other lady was given a different seat. I have been lucky enough to have been on some almost empty flights. To Fiji I got three seats to lay down on. I have three seats for me and my toddler son to South Africa and it was a 12 hour flight. One time I got allocated a middle seat from Nairobi to London but I got it changed to a window seat. The airline knew my request and I began my journey in the Seychelles.
