I was on the Phone earlier to my Friend who I had not spoken to since October and we where chatting away, Gissi was and I mean was asleep on his Chair, after being on the Phone for about 20 Minutes, Gissi decided either he wanted attention or wanted to stop listening to us talking, he started to roll and Dig on his chair, he was moving his Cushion and Pillow about, I asked him what he was doing, he stopped for a second, looked at me and then just carried on, so while I am talking to my Friend I am sitting here watching him and trying to figure out what he was trying to do well look at the Photo and see the outcome of it, also note the Look I got when I asked him if he was comfortable now
I only asked, there was no need for this attitude really was there now???

Too Cute. My three are making nest for themselves as they are not used to this very cold weather. My Schatzie is also snuggled up. Maybe Gissi would like to join her!!

Well he found a cozy spot and decided to hole up and make the world go away. Nobody wanted to give him attention so he found a place to hide. He is such a neat little dog. I want one, but doubt my cats would appreciate having a dog around the house.

"Mum! You've been on the phone tooooooooo long! I am your baby! I need your attention. Now, if you insist on talking so much, I'm just going to have to do something to get your full attention. That's better. At last you put the phone down and concentrated on me!"

That is such a cute picture. My dog once put his bed on its side and layed down on his blanket which is usually laying on top of his bed. He did all this to get the sun out of his face. I was hysterical. I couldn't believe how smart that was.

my dogs are doing it all the time...when they want to put head on soft pillow or to be covered during cold weather, they know what to do...

I was going to make some smart remark, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was...
Silly dog...

Too funny! It reminds me of when little kids play hide and seek, thinking you can't see them, but there's no way you can miss them, haha! I think Gissi just wanted some privacy, haha! And, it's so funny how he re-arranged it all, and by himself! I saw a program on tv the other night and the lady was from England,...she had a little dog that looked just like Gissi! Really cute!

hi gabs and gissi oh my you did get a look, with just one eye there, I think he saying, come mum come play, getoff that phone
why don't you? peek a boo. oh he is so funny my little man in his
doggie suit. thanks for an early morning smile here, I am still rubbing sleep out of my eyes. its all of six thirty one am and its still dark outself. this is an insult to humanity having to get up this early for breakfast at seven, and thats a laugh. Its more like seven forty before we get served even coffee. I can see Gissi now, he would take one look at this group of only half awake people and hide under his pillow. Maybe one eye out just to see what was going on. thanks for sharing with us,we all get to love little Gissi once in awhile. he he. hugs to you both Hatley here.

Hahaha! That's so cute! I'd say he was telling you, in his own Gissi way, that you were making too much noice and disturbing his sleep.
(I've done the same thing to lessen the noise made by my husband's snoring. I mean putting the pillow over my head, not digging and rolling around on it. LOL)
It's amazing how much they can say without saying a word, isn't it?

Dogs can definitely see, hear and feel things humans can't. Sadie got me up at 1:30 this morning with just one bark, this usually means she needs covers, but this morning she was just standing in between one room and the next. I turned on lights, I looked, I listened and she just stood there and looked at me and wagged her tail. I found nothing so I told her to go back to be and I went back to bed. In about an hour later there was a louder bark so I got up again, the exact same thing happened all over. Finally she went in and got a drink, then went back to bed.
This morning I found no sign of invaders, mouse, roach etc. I'll never know what was going on, but I hope it doesn't happen again, I need my sleep.

how cute. coco does some similar things. when shes annoyed at my inattention she digs at things, then hides somewhere and will not pay attention to me unless i say "bone". that always gets her attention. they are not real bones, but pressed treats shaped like them. she loves these and only gets one on very special occassions. some of our babies/pets are way to smart

Hey gabs! That is so adorable! That Gissi is just too cute and
boy does he know it! I think he knows that he is the "cutest
litte doggy on this site"! He sure knows how to get what he
wants and he wanted you off that phone Mum! Right now Star is
yelling and pacing and yelling and he was also a bad boy! He
was just leaning on my keyboard and somehow erased my emails
from today that were in my inbox! The ones that I was in the
middle of responding too! So now I am really pissed off and he
is in his bed in the corner behind the computer because he did
a bad thing!

That is too cute! Do you think that maybe he was getting a little jealous that you were paying attention to somebody other than him? Pets do get their noses out of joint if they don’t have your undivided attention when they want it! I suspect that Gissi just found a new game and probably wanted you to play; he is a very humorous dog!
