This is the year of 2010 so why is it so hard to get a high speed connection. I live in the city and still stuck with dial-up, it makes me want to scream at times. Sure I can get high speed if I go for the only cable company in our town that charges extreme prices and we're not giving in to that, not yet anyway. Is there anyone else with the same problem?

I think it's just a matter of time. However, the fact is internet cost is getting lower and lower, cheaper and cheaper from time to time. Since your area is just starting to growing, i think if the potential is high then there will be some internet service providers will held their services on your area. Several years ago, i only had dial up connection for home user in my city, leased line was very expensive at that time. But today, i even can using my mobile phone for mobile internet broadband which cheaper price but faster speed. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I mean i was in a small town when all others have used broadband and that use to drive me crazy. the dial up are really slow. but now i am in Mumbai and i am really happy that i can finally enjoy the high speed internet and i also feel that this is something which will happen very quickly all over the world.

Thank you for responding, and I say the faster the better for an internet connection.I can't wait until dial-up is no longer in my vocabulary.
