Google chrome is not compatible with facebook chat?

It's been 24 hours and my facebook chat is still not there. I'm using google chrome and I heard that google chrome is not compatible with facebook chat. Some say that it has something to do with javascripts and some say that facebook does no support google chrome. They recognize Google chrome as an older bersion of a browser. For now I think i will be using IE again. Too bad because i'm starting to like chrome. What do you think mylotters?
