New Account Page

Have you activated and used the new account page in Associated Content? I have checked it out in the AC Labs link (the red/pink graphic in the top right corner of your internal account page), but I am not sure I want to commit to the new page yet.
Are they going to eventually change it over for everyone automatically, or do we have the choice whether to keep the old layout/settings? If we change to the new one, is there a way we can get back to the old layout if we decide we don't like it?
The new one looks okay to me, but I am still tryign to get the hang of it, so I have not changed over or activated it yet.

I don't really know anything about AC Bethany, but maybe you can help me. I write short fictional pieces about the lives of two ladies here in the UK and send them to friends. I'd like to put them all in one place and have thought about starting a web page specially for them. However I understand that if they go on AC or similar I can make a little money for my efforts. Does AC allow people to put unsolicited original pieces up or do they all have to be in response to a prescribed theme? I'd be be grateful for any advice. Thank you.

I have not checked out the new account page yet.
I just login to check the daily page view report, and noticed that traffic went down a lot during the week of Christmas to New Year, about a third of average daily page views.
Sigh, no wonder can't even get $10 for the month of December.

I didnt activate it when I still had the option. I dont currently like the new layout of associated content. It seemed to change really drastically when yahoo bought associated content. I really enjoyed the old layout. This may have been because I have been a member at associated content for years and have gotten use to the old layout.

I am sure it is like all their other changes. It will eventually be implemented for everyone and you probably won't get the choice of keeping the old one. I think they are doing it this way to get more feedback. They had it out as a test for awhile and had a questionnaire for everyone to fill out. My understanding is they did change it a little before it went active this way. Look in the forum, or type your question there because I am sure they are still monitoring the forums and someone will have probably heard something by now. LOL
