I have a plan to buy a new color laser printer. Of course, none of the printer that is made exactly the same, both in specification, technology and purpose. There is a fast printer in print, but the extraordinary voracious intake of electric power. However, there are also energy-efficient printers, or the electric power consumption minimal. In term of price, laser printer, monochrome and color - the more affordable, although price for toner sometimes do not come down or cheap. For home users, so what to consider when going to buy a color laser printer? What is you suggestion or opinion of mylotters as well? Please I really need it ...

You can buy a color laser printer, but before buying, you should know the purpose for which you want to but, because it is costly compared with Black-white printers, at the same time it requires or uses 4 tonar or cartridges for working, these also costly. I have such one printer. the make is hp, the price is around 1000$, due to power fluctuations one chip was burst , still i try to get it, still i have not got it and repaired my printer.

5 points to remember depending upon your usage... a)Print Speed:For heavy use 20ppm to 35ppm below that is for personal light usage. b)Monthly print volume: Depends on your use heavy or light c)Print quality: Quality is measures in DPI dot per inch standard quality is 600 x 600 dpi. its considered very standard for daily text material but if u looking forward to print photos, documents etc look for 1200x1200 or 2400x600 dpi. Very high print quality and slowest is 1200x1200. One should also see it is multi media type means it can print cards, photo paper, envelops, etc d)Paper capacity: depends on use 150 - 600 is appropriate for heavy use it can go up to 20k to 25k. e) Compatibility: With your Operating System Dell printer stand good for heavy and light use.
