ati radeon and windows 7

i just currently installed windows 7 on my computer.My graphics card ATI Radeon 7000 64mb is not supported by windows 7. Although i can install the driver using manual installation from device manager,i still cant shut down or use the ATI control panel and what bout the gaming on windows 7 on my graphics card..and i have 256mbRam and a pentium 4 3.00 GHz...what i mean is any tip on increasing the performance..................................................... and bout buying new card well..motherboard supports ddr2 2GB MAX and only AGP 3.0 cards
