Hi all, I have 2 little kids, with different characteristic and will. I just follow their talent and directing their talent alone. Do you push your kid with what you want they will be? for instance you want your children to be politicians, so your children must get to law collage. Even your children not like to be politicians.

I believe in complete independence of the individual. I cannot and should not live my life thru my child…I have only one son and though he’s just 10yrs old, yet we discuss many options which he can take up as a career when the time comes. I point out the pros and cons of all the careers so that he can take the decision himself. I never impose my will or my choice on him on any matter.

I don't think pushing our kids to do what we want instead of supporting what they really want is not a wise thing to do. Just imagine if that is done to ourself, we are pushed to do things that we don't really want to, than we might feel desperate or unhappy. We should be supporting our kids to find what their best talent and interests are, because this is about their life, not ours. They will be doing this their whole life in the future, so it must be something that they really enjoy to do..
