haha...nope, i don't remember waking up seeing my cat looking at me...but most of the time, i wake up seeing my cat tightly asleep on my chest or sometimes on my side! and i think that's her favorite thing to do...maybe she thought that i am her bed!

Yes I've had that happen. The other things they'll do is walk across my pillow or attack my feet. Two or three in the morning is not a time I want to play! We shut our bedroom door at night to keep the cats out now. Too many interruptions in our sleep and we got tired of it. It makes for a much better nights sleep for us! LOL

L.O.L. IF we shut our doors our cats can open them! I don't know how they learned it but they will open the doors that's why we don't shut them anymore.

I have been woken by a cat but I've never been woken with it staring right at my face. One time I woke up and my cat was licking my ear lol. That same cat has also woken my brother up by licking his hair till it was all gross and standing on end hahaha. I found that kind of funny. My brother then had to take a long shower because of that.

When I was little we had a cat that really wanted to sleep in my mothers bed. When she couldn't get into her room, she'd try getting into mine or my brothers bed instead. I tried once, but she talked and talked so I couldn't sleep at all. She just lay there, next to me head and talked. I only tried once, after that she had to find someone elses bed to sleep in.

Hey, jahernandezrivas. Yeah, I have encountered it many times, and most of them scared me. So at first it wasn't so funny at all, as I'm not expecting to see a big hairy face the moment I open my eyes, hehe. But usually she is just asking for breakfast, not something dangerous. Just feed and you're free to sleep again! :D Mindaugas.

your joking right? I'd rather they were just looking at me and not, as Scamp used to do, poking me in the FACE!

Of course my cats always seem to find it important to wake me up at the worst times ever. One of my cats, Precious, has adopted that polsey to get right in my face and meow. He'll do that or try and lift my head if he feels that I need to wake up, even if I don't agree.

Oh yeah, I've had it happen a few times with our 17 lb MaineCoon cat Brutus. I've gotten to the point that I will pick my head up and stare back at him which usually sends him running in the other direction. So much for the brave cat who stalks those who are sleeping. LOL
