Giving gifts to your friends. How often you do it? Do you get gifts often?

Hello everybody, Christmas is over and I though to myself - there is no excitement whatever I would get during it. Why? I'm too used to it. Wouldn't it be better to pack a present for someone randomly, not even on a celebration? In my opinion, random gifts would make it unexpectable and in that way less forgettable. Whatever it would be - a flower, a chocolate or anything - it would make your day. Isn't it true, and what do you think about it? Mindaugas.

It's a good idea, but do you give giftcards randomly or only when celebrations occur?

I just see that you are the type of person who likes to be surprised! Not everyone is like that. There are many people out there who spec a gift in return, but down to the question I do think it would be nice to get something randomly. That´s what I would call having a nice gesture.

Probably you are right, but when you give a gift, the friend is encouraged to do the same. Maybe not today, not tomorrow, but that idea would not leave his/her mind. And in this way that would be a gift in return, just over time. :)

My friends and I have this system where each of us would chip in and get each person a present. What I mean is instead of spending $100 trying to get each person a present, we'd all chip in for one. This not only helps us save money, but makes all of us happy. I have 5 best friends and if you include Christmas, we do this about 6 times a year.
