Were you out shopping for your son or daughter? Maybe a favorite niece or newphew? or maybe your like myself and my husband, shopping for your own video game addiction? Well if you were out shopping, there's a chance a few of the games you wanted to get for whatever reason, wasn't available. Well that's most likely because they were popular. I knew that Super Mario Bros for the wii was bound to be, hubby and I actually got that before Christmas.
Well Super Mario Bros made it on the list of games that just sold too quickly, as well as Mario Kart with wheel (I actually got that from hubby for Christmas), also if you were trying to find Lego Star Wars, well that wii game wasn't available either, huh?
Here's a link to the list of top ten video games that were hard to find, WITH PRICES, and a chance to buy them!
Warning : Don't click if that favorite child of yours is in the room, of course if your the favorite child, well you were warned!

So were any of the games on the list games you were looking for? Did you go back and get them later, or are you going to now that I've mentioned it? Mario and Sonic Olympic Games has gone down in price

I think I mentioned in one of my earlier responses that I bought a Lego Indiana Jones: The adventure continues for Wii, for my son last Christmas. It was a bit hard to find this game when I started looking for it. I have a discount card for one of the video game store chains, but all of this chain's stores didn't have this game. So I ended up buying from an independent shop, without a discount, at probably a relatively higher price.

I think I remember you mentioning that. I think I may have also told you how we buy games, but if not this might help. We either go to gamestop, or a local game store, or amazon, or even wal*mart is starting to have $20.00 games. We've even bought games from a friend, and actually I still need to call my sister about buying a game we've been borrowing, lol.
Well I think that a lot of the lego games, and other kid games seem to go faster if only because they are in higher demand.

The only Wii game I was actually looking for was the Super Mario Brothers Wii game. And yeah, it was sold out everywhere. I went to every game shop and department store in town looking for it with no success. I actually gone back to a few of those places after Christmas and they still don't have the game. I guess it's just that popular. I'm pretty sure they'll have in stock within the next few months though. So, since my brother's birthday is in March I'll probably end up buying it as a birthday present instead.

Oh yea, I figured that game would be a real hot seller. Hubby and I got it before Christmas so we had it. A friend of ours got it for Christmas as a present from his mom or sister.
I'm sure that you could probably ask for them to hold a copy for you! It should eb available again soon though, and ofcourse amazon is always an option.

Fortunately for me I don't have a Wii nor do my grandchildren. However I do want one for myself. I buy board games for my grandchildren. My 4-year old grandson was gifted Candyland from me this Christmas. His eyes lit up when he opened it! Best game/present he received.

When I was younger, I loved playing Candyland, it was one of my favorite games! The wii is a fun gaming sytem, and the fact that you can play old Nintendo games is definitely a bonus. I hope you get a chance to purchase one as the games are so family oriented that everyone can play just about every game made for the system. My favorite game on the wii at the moment is My Sims Kingdom, suitable for all ages!

My sister has a wii, but I couldn't afford to buy games for Christams presents. She did get a lot of gift cards/money for christmas. Her friend got Rock Band; she played it and totally fell in love with it. We all went out shopping, and she wanted to buy Rockband for the wii with her git money but we could not find it ANY where. Every store had Guitar Hero and Rock Band for playstation and xbox, but they were always sold out of the ones for the wii.

Wii is a more popular console so I think that their games would be the first ones to be sold out of. Hubby and I go to a small town game store, and he seems to get wii games and then they are gone like that (a snap of the fingers). Well I hope that your sister can find Rock Band soon. If we're not going out to find a game, we use amazon, another great site to find info about cheap games is cheapassgamer.com
I appreciate the response, and have a wonderful day! Oh, and also happy mylotting.
