my sons birthday on the 11th, and he has a fever

we are not having a birthday party, but we are planning to go out on monday january 11. now he has a fever and we brought him yesterday at his pediatrician. he has a sore throat thats why he has fever and his tonsils has infection. i am sad for this we wanted to bring him to the ocean park for he loves fish. that is where we went last year also and we want to go back there again. i bet the place improves already after a year. i hope the medications that doctor prescribe cab help him get well so we can still go out on his birthday.

thank you very much roseo, and that is so sweet of you to remember. he enjoyed the visit at the park last year and i know he will much enjoy it now. though we didnt go to the park we can schedule that again maybe next week. we had a small party at home with his cousins. hope next week we can make it at the park.

funny he was 39.5 on high fever yesterday but still jumping on the bed. but now he is on normal temperature, hope that this will be like this and so we can atleast go to church tomorrow. maybe the antibiotic that the doctor gave for his tonsil really made the fever go down. thanks for the concern and prayers and thanks for the response as well.

I hope your son is feeling better by now. I know how awful it is when a child is sick on their birthday. This year my youngest child turned 5 years old on December 27th. She got sick Christmas night and was sick through New Years Day. Poor thing. She had bronchitis and had to be on a nebulizer to help her breathe. It is just so awful when our kids are sick, but especially on holidays or birthdays.

it is really sad when our children gets sick and i agree with you that it is awful specially on birthdays and holidays. he is ok now and we are planning to visit ocean park maybe next week. i guess birthday or not he will still be having fun there. thanks a lot for the response

we celebrated his birthday at home instead. with his cousins. he had a great time but we still want to go to the park for i know he will enjoy that. maybe we will go there next week. we will be taking pictures on upload it here. thanks a lot for the greeting and thanks a lot for the response

thank you very much for the greetings. he celebrated his party yesterday with cousins at home. it was not the kind of celebration we expected and planned but the trip to the park can be scheduled again. maybe next week. he is okay already no fever and he had fun with his cousins. thanks a lot for the response

I am sorry to hear that. I hope your son will get well as soon as possible. Sometimes try to think about the positive way. The fever is sometimes good for children. I feel the children will grow up after that. And it can also improve the body.

my mother inlaw always says that too, that when a child grows a little he gets fever. and since my son will be having a birthday then it is normal to get fever and grow a little. it was cool to know that you believe with that theory too. thanks a lot for the response

I will pray now that your son will get better by the 11th, but only if it is God's will. Sometimes things like this happen, but God might be letting it happen to protect us from something.
