Somehow the song Carolina Moon comes to my mind when I see the full moon, not every time though:

You make me smile upon reading your comment. : ) It is simply the same moon we got here in my country I believe. :) There are a few songs that i do associate with the full moon...mostly are instrumental/classical. I am such a gazer in the skies.Don't u think it's therapeutic?

Yes. It is. It does give one a happy feeling. My house is so designed that I have a full view of it right from inside my house.

wow!!! U r soooo lucky to have a house built seeing the grandeur of the heavens. If i had only my chance, i would have done the same. I am very mellow in the evenings and i always do expect for the moon and the stars every night. But that doesn't happen when the climate here goes selfish...hehehe... Moonlight Serenade is playing right now as i am typing.:)

Welcome to myLot musicque!
When I see the moon, especially a fullmoon, I am very aware of how small the world is. It is the same moon that my mother in UK and my sister in US see and we can all watch the full moon, or an eclipse, together and know that we are seeing exactly the same thing. It seems so far away but it brings us closer together.
It is a beautiful sight to see when there are a few flimsy clouds about and it disappears for a minute or two and then reappears. Such a mystical sight and so fascinating too.

thanks so much for the reply.I LOVE THE realization that you have given here. I do agree with you. The moon fascinates me a lot. i used to have this dream of going out into the space and see it!hahaha... but again, that only remains a dream. I have seen its romanticism yes and quite nice to behold both at happy and sad times. Whenever i see it, I get to play Claire the Lune a hundred times as well!!! : )
