Lying About Your Age

What other people think of me is none of my business. Repeat that to yourself about 100 times a day for a month. By the end of the month, people telling you how you should live your life wont bother you any longer. You will have tricked yourself into believing it. In fact if there is any aspect of your life you want to change, start by telling the change to yourself 100 times a day(or more) for at least a month. I am happy and confident. I attract wealth and friendship. Etc Etc. I never lie about my age, I am 26, I have a house and kids, and I think that it was a mistake to do that so young. As for video games, my son needs a boy to play with.... Cheers.

I have never found a reason to lie about my age. Yes I have always looked younger then my age but even if I looked my age or older I can't see lying about it. People can find out the truth of your age if they really wanted to know, so why lie about it.

I never ever lie about my age I am twenty one but who knows maybe I will start lying about my age when I am older people from time to time thing I am lying about being twenty one I get the wow you don't look like your twenty one you look more like fifteen I dont know if I should be offended or not or if its a good thing. I mean its just well I dont really care too look like a little teenager when I am really am an adult haha.

Hello there. How come you say you are 26 but wrote in your profile that you're 28? That's confusing. Well I dont lie about my age and I'm okay about it since I look younger than my age. Age are just numbers. You become old when you stop doing things that make you younger.

i don't.i'm 40,and i don't care who knows it LOL. i don't really look my age,but at least most places have stopped asking me for my ID,because i forget it most of the time.that gets annoying at the store if you're in a hurry. as far as video games go-i still play them.good for hand-eye coordination.

Why lier??? It breaks what is known as the 10 commandments. "Thou shall not lie". Why lie about anything? It doesnt make any sence at all.

Hi Nocturn98, I don't lie about my age and I am older then you. I don't like it because I do no I am getting older. I wish I was still in my 20s but that isn't going to happen and I no it. My birthday is coming up and I will be 39. I remember when I was your age. But we just need to make the best of things and try not to worry so much. The more we worry about things the older are body feels. Try to enjoy life and not worry about your age.

For me age doesn't matter in any related events that I want to participating in. I always put my real age in whatever sites that I signing in. I'm already 36 and does what young people can do to their age. I play a lot of online games on the net or in a computer itself...Have a nice day!

Thankfully, I am currently at an age where I don't need to lie about it, but I know it will probably get harder as I get older Tbh, age brings with it life experience and memories, so anybody who judges you solely upon it doesn't deserve your company

I don't lie about my age but I always ask people how old do they think I am. You are right sometimes people judge us when they know how old we are.. that we should not do this instead do that. I still tell my real age though people always say I look older (I don't mind actually). I guess sometimes it is just one of those icebreakers in a conversation :)

Wow. I'm 23 and I think it's sort of odd that people do that. Does it matter that much? I'm 23 and extremely immature in regard to my personality. I'm often told by people "I thought you were a high schooler," which is immensely embarrassing at times. Maybe once I look older, I'll want to tell people I'm younger. lol

Hello nocturn98, I don't lie about my age. But sometimes I love people to guess my age. I get pretty sad if they guess that I am older than I am supposed to be and of course, I feel happy when they guess that I am much younger than my real age *winks* I understand how you feel. When I was in my late 20's, I didn't like it too when people asked me certain questions related to my age.

I understand where you are comming from on this one. I act younger and sometimes look that way. On the other hand when I was younger I had to grow up faster and take on responsibilities that no teenager I know had w/ coping with my mom and being the only person between my mom & I with a job ect. But it was nice when one of the 60 something ladies at work thought I was a teenager! *LOL* If I could afford it and fit the clothes I like I would probably look like a teenager still cause my mom wouldn't let me and we couldn't afford for me to do it either.

Hey friend! It's not a wise thing to lie about age. I'm near 36 and on 11th of February, I'll turn 37. I'm not afraid to disclose my real age. Moreover, 50% of my hair has turned gray along with my beards. Some or my chest-hair and nasal hairs have turned gray. Some people mistakes me as a person of 45/48. I've got shyness about that. When I tell them that I'm only 36 they get surprised. Most people are attracted to me because of my mental freshness. They like to stay with me, pass time with me, gossiping with me. My age hasn't be able to bar me from my free movement. I hope you'll also get used to it. Good luck!

Well, I never hide my real age, but since I'm also 26, sometimes I do feel don't wanna people to know that. Because I'm somewhat kind of afraid of I'm not as good as I should be when at this age. And also, as times passing by, one has to take more responsibilities just because the age comes. I don't know, I think I've not been ready enough.

what's wrong wid playing video games? i dont see anything wrong about it.Me,im 37 already a mother of two kids still playing video games, and even playing on line games wid my kids.Playing makes you feel and look young, it's a kind of stress therapy for me. at 26, i think you're still young to get marry and start a family, just enjoy your single life because getting married is a lifetime responsibility and your time for yourself will be limited. Never mind what other says and thinks about you, as long as you've never done anything wrong to them. AS long as you're happy, keep playing but don't overdo it, of course you have to work also and do some other things. good luck!
