Do you keep a budget? How do you budget yourself? I try to keep a record but it gets hard sometimes when i can't remember how much specifically i spend on food (especially those cents). So how do you keep your budget or do you even have a budget?

Before I got married I never did a budget, but now that I am married I am finding myself budgeting. I create a budget for our bills and necessities and I try my best to stick to it. as for food I make dishes that I can get two or more meals out of and I always make sure that at least once a week my husband and I have breakfast for dinner. I make a grocery list and always make sure that I stick to it and if something is not on my list I do not buy it. I use excel to create a budget and write down all our monthly expenses. I keep track of when the bills are due and how much we owe. I also have a column where I check if the bill has been paid and what method I use. I have noticed that this helps me out quite a bit.

Before I got married I never budgeted my money, but now that I am married I budget all the time. I am always looking for ways to save money and have given up on spending money on things that I do not need. When it comes to grocery shpping I budget 50.00 per week (there is the 2 of us only) and I always seem to be well under budget. My husband only works parttime and I am not working at all. I make our budget work by cutting out a lot of things and living within our means. It is hard not being able to do a lot of things, but I would much rather live as close to debt free as possible. The only debt I have is a mortgage and I still have seven years to pay it off. I am trying to think of ways to add money onto the mortgage so we can pay it down further.

Of course, I supposed it's in my blood. But if I really what something even if it's costly, I save for it; thus, I don't have to be guilty thinking of how much money I've spent on it. I spent much most of the time with food and occasionally with clothes; since these are the things that interest me most and I deemed necessary. I bet you'll agree.

The truth be told I dont budget and that has been my downfall because I find that it is not easy for me to save any money as I always overspend .Many times I am in the positive or so I think and I start another wave of spending and tehn when I check again I find that I am broke again.I promise that I will satrt budgetting this year.

It helps me a lot to buy as much as I can with my Visa. Then I can see what I have spents on internet, going to my Bank account. I pay my credic card completly every month so I only use it as a memory. Besides, I gwet some money I can use for airfare (dollar prizes) by using it. I save the grocery bills and I NEVER go any where without a list. If it´s not on the list, then I don´t need it. I make my food from scratch so I don´t spend on pizzas (but I can make an awesome pizza at home) or burgers (I also make them at home with meat I buy on sale and grind myself). I live very well will on a budget and work online for my only luxury: vacations. I have had luck with that and this March I´m going to Aruba for 2 weeks

I write down all my possible expenses for the month. Sum it up and the remaining money left (if there is any) will be deposit to my savings account. I only buy things I really need. In this way, I can manage my expenses and I do have savings at the same time.
