Do people say anything to you when you fart around them?

If you're around people in public and you rip a real nasty one, do the people around you usually say anything or do they pretend not to smell it? I know people aren't farting non-stop in public or anything or even weekly, haha, but in the times that you have farted around people, and you know it smells, do the people around you pretend not to notice it because it would seem weird to point out or do they say anything like, "Who farted?". It's funny, because I've farted around people and no one says anything, haha. Even though I know they can smell it. I think it's just the idea of making the other person uncomfortable that makes them not say anything, haha.

Hi powerbrokenape . I don't fart around people in public for I feel it is quite rude. I smacks of lack of respect for others and self-respect. I can understand toddlers and younger ones, senior citizens, and those that are truly sick doing that but for someone like myself. It would be good to consider the words of Christ, "love your neighbor as yourself."

I get what you mean about it being rude, but sometimes I need to fart, haha. It is a natural body function after all and people might have to do it. :/

Howdy. I'm finding that today's society tends to blend "need" with "want to." I have retarded people in my church that used to fart during and in church. After numerous discussions with them they now control their body much better 1.) by either holding their fart or 2.) going to the bathroom or outside. I have to fart too. But I sure do not purposely do it around others and if one slips, I apologize.
