How to crack the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination in India?

Dear friends, I want to know from the readers, especially the members of `MYLOT' the tips to crack the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination in India. The examination is going to be conducted by the Union Public Services Commission on May 23,2010 this year. I hope many of the members or their friends or relatives in India must be preparing for this examination. I want to know their views about that. Thanks in anticipation.
