What are some ways to drive traffic to article pages?

I tried social networking and bookmarking sites. And yes they do work well. I also have tried using keywords. But there are some articles they do not get even a single page view. Is there any technique I can use to drive traffic to these articles?

One shortcut I know to achieve your desired goal is to submit your sites to traffic exchange websites. There you can get lots of traffic, high volume of traffic to your site.

I wish, but some people at Bukisa got their accounts disabled because the company deems it violation of their TOS. I actually write for that site.

Even I have joined the same site and looking for increasing visitors.You are right we cannot use traffic exchanges in bukisa.
