video editing in which area you wanna? in any case, I suggest you to go for youtube...

There is a difference between a video editing and video uploading. YouTube offers only minor video editing options. Before you can upload the video to YouTube you need to first produce the video, that's something youtube can't do for you.

Yeah start with windows movie maker it has very simple options and user interface very good for newbies and once you make some good videos then go for advanced videos editing. When i was a beginner, I just ran Windows Movie Maker and played with the software although I didn't have any idea on what it is. I learned through it and found nit interesting and could do so many stuffs. I recommend you to to use this software - it's free- because right until now, although my friends introduce me to professional softwares like Ulead Movie Maker, Sony Vegas etc. , I can still use Windows Live Movie Maker to do all movies that I desired to make.
