hi there people, every day our computers become old, every day some new tecnology are created and surpass the tecnology of the day before. we can buy a new compter but the day after it'll be old. I think that my pc is good one, an old pc because they become old the day after, but it's a good and powerul computer. And what about you? do you think that your computer is a good one or a bad one? Thank you for your responses :)

Yeh i think my computers great, although i have a mac and not a PC. Its able to do everything i want it to and thats all that really matters to me :) Although technology for computers is getting better and better quite rapidly and it doesn't take that long for computers to become old as you say :)

Well, to give you an idea, it makes at most 3 months that I purchased one my most recent computers. We're on a age of DDR3s, i7s, 1TB drives, etcetera. What did I got? A Dual-Core. A 775-socket, E5300 CPU (that's a Dual @2.6GHz/core) with 2 500GB hard disks, 4GB RAM (Now 8 actually), and a ATI HD 4850. If I think it's good? I think it's freaking awesome. My precious machine was a P4 @3GHz, so my processing power more than doubled - Yes, more than doubled, because the E5300 overclocks easily to 3.4GHz without voltage increase - My old machine had a 2400Pro for graphics card so that difference is abysmal. Both had initially 4GB of RAM which is plenty (the extra 4 is for specific stuff), plus twin hard drives for a RAID 0 system. Frankly, I think I'm well suited for another 5 years at least be it work wise or game wise... there's frankly nothing that won't run minimally well on this, so there's no need for any super-duper-machine-from-hell like people seem to love to rush out and buy at super expensive prices.

if I can still be used as long then I guess it's a good computer. Most older computers run like snails but it is not a big problem for me. I think that my computer is a bit old, but so be it. If necessary I want to buy an even better not to outdated.

The latest computer that I bought is my hp laptop. It's just 1 year old so the specs can still handle the latest programs and apps. Most old computers can still run the latest softwares, although slow, but they will still run. If you're a PC gamer and you want to run the latest games, that's when you really need the latest rig.

I like hi-techs stuff so no matters what i always think there is a better computer than the one in front of me. but sometimes i can pull my self to think of a minimal configuration of a computer that can make me feel good when thinking about my computer. So i want the best of the best computer but i'll be satisfy with something else and right now i don't have enough money to buy that minimal computer of my dreams.

I think that as long as the computer runs pretty fast it's a good one.Of course i don't mean gaming here :).Oh, and i hate pc's that make a lot of noise.
