how to get rid of mice without killing my two dogs

we sometimes have problems with rat too here at home, but i rather put fly papers than poison. we have a child that might get poisoned too if we try that kind of way. we buy fly papers and put food in the middle. then this little crtiiters will smell the food and jump on the bait. its very effective so i guess you can try it too. we catched all the mice at home. make sure you throw the paper at once when you catch one for it might escape. buy a few fly paper and put it in different parts of the house or where you think the rats usually past. hope this can work.
