what is the benefit of traffic exchange systems

Many of website owner say that traffic exchange system's hits do not count as real traffic.What is your impression about it.

Depends on how long each hit stays on the website and also which system you use to track visitors. It doesn't have much use except from increasing alexa ranking really. It doesn't convert and they don't care one bit about your website, so what's the use? :)
