I think I have read this book, off the top of my head I cannot remember the author, but if it is the book that I am thinking it is then I can honestly say that I did not like the book at all. I am not much of a movie watcher so I doubt I will watch the film.

I've only seen a trailer for this movie in the cinema so far,and I haven't read the book....Like Many books that make it to the big screen,It depends on how well the transfer was made from the original book to the final script, and what editing if needed is made during production..I think It's usually a good sign for the script if the Author is involved in the process..Lord of the Rings is the main Movie I recall as having read the book(s) first. It took a lot of work to get it there, and cuts had to be made, but I think it worked..hopefully the same goes for this Movie!

Hi there Enola. Many movies that took up from books turn out to be a lot worse then the book (my personal experience is strongest represented by "PS: I love you", which turned out to be a really bad movie when compared with the book. There are also some movies that were quite good even if the book came first (like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and the Disney ones - Narnia and the classics).
