my sister is having her first child an it is a girl.. She lucked out in the department that our older sister and myself had children 2 years ago, she had a girl and i had one of each so there are plently of hand me downs going on there! But we are throwning her a baby shower and we want to go all out for her, after all she was always told she wasnt ever going to be able to have children so this is a VERY special miracle and we want to make EVERY part of it super unforgettable... we are not very creative though and need a little help in coming up with some good party ideas, favors games anything really would be greatly appreciated! thanks so much in advance!!

You could play BINGO. Make a bingo board that has common words or phrases that would be said, and give each person a different version and a stamp or a pen to cross them off as people say them.

Some of my favorite games at the baby showers I have been to and helped at were very cheap and really fun. The first is give everyone a safety pin with a bead on it when they arrive. Make sure they pin it on their shirt where people can see it. When they say a code word they have to give up their bead to the first person who calls them out on it. It could be the word "baby" or the little girls name or anything else you come up with. We had someone use "Mom" once and it was so hard to keep track of that we ended up laughing way too much, lol! For the second game you need to get a package of little babies or rattles or something from a party store but I think Walmart may have them now too. put them in some ice trays with water and freeze them until they are trapped in the ice. Put them in sandwich baggies and pass them out. The first person to get the item out of the ice without eating the ice is the winner. This is so much fun to watch! lol Congratulations on becoming an aunt!!

For my sister in law a few years ago we did baby onesies at the shower. We had iron on transfer paper and a computer with printer available as well as cloth paint, tie die supplies and Fabric markers. Everyone had fun making their own special gift and baby had a whole bunch of onesies, bibs and burp clothes. See we started out with onesies and got carried away in the fun!
