I read a discussion about a site that pays for writing but didn't get the name of it. Can any of you help me? I think it started with test brokers-- I appreciate your help ahead of time.

My favorites are Helium and IM Report Card and for the second one you can find a banner on my profile. These two sites are my main source of income so I recommend them with all my heart. If you join Helium and you have problems in understanding some of the rules [I know I did] feel free to contact me and I will explain what you need

Thank you very much for you info on writing sites. I've been looking for work and decided I'd just as well try my hand at doing something on the internet. I'll keep in touch :) and if I have troubles, I'll pm you.

Bukisa is a great writing site. It pays continuous residual income up to 4 USD per thousand views. There's a Bukisa link in my profile. You can check it out if you're interested. Thanks,

As others have said Textbroker.com is the one you're talking about. I write for them and they pay well. There are some other sites that pay for writing that haven't been mentioned yet like Xomba and TipDrop. I have listed a few more at my blog. Here is a link to the post where the link is. http://make-money-online-quest.blogspot.com/2010/01/making-money-online-with-social.html

I know a few sites that do this sort of thing like Associated Content, Bukisa and another site that I'm part of and it's one of my favorites imReportCard. You can join this site from my profile if you wish.

As you are an American, you have plenty of choices on which site to write for. You can try to submit your work to Associated Content, Helium, e-How, Triond, Bukisa, etc. Many Americans love Associated Content because it offers upfront payment. So does Helium. If you're good in how-to articles, then go for e-how. I do write articles too for a site named Triond. It pays per page views.

It's nice to know we can be friends from different countries and share our knowledge isn't it? I do appreciate your input on my problem and am glad we can visit this way. Thanks again.
