Yes, I drink milk, both pure and as chocolate milk. I also like milk shakes, that's the only thing I buy at Mc Donalds. They have very nice milkshakes but I don't like the burgers etc. But then you can get so big shakes that you have something to do all the time while your friends eat their burgers.

I'm waiting for summer, sometimes I get a milkshake instead of an ice-cream but right now it's -10 degrees Celsius, really foggy and and not at all a nice winters day, so I think hot chocolate sounds better. Possibly hot chocolate milk, but definitly more hot drinks after my hot cup of tea.

Yes, I do drink milk and I like it. Most women don't realize the benefits of breakfast and milk. And they may take more of carbonated soft drinks, beverages, coffee, fruit juice and simple sandwiches which make weight to increase. Calcium, iron, folic acid and fiber are important substances in the body to achieve healthy weight. Cereals and milk in the morning will give you all the above important substances in your body.

Actually my favorite drink it Chocolate Milk :D When I have desserts I almost always insist on having milk with it. And on the occasions I have cereal I will have milk with that. Also when I have pop tarts I like to have it with milk. It makes it go down better. Now my boyfriend is a huge Milk drinker. He can go through a gallon of milk alone very fast.

I dont drink milk at all. I cant even remember the last time i drank milk. Even as a little kid i never liked it. I'm not sure why it just was never a drink i enjoyed. The only time i use milk is if i need it for something i'm making and very rarely i use it for cereal in the morning (maybe once a month)

Yes, I drink milk too but not everyday... I like milk and chocolates flavored milk. I agree that is very good for our health. I like fresh milk and sterilized ones. I also drink coffee, tea, cola, etc... It depends on my mood. All ages should drink milk not only young ones.

I know milk is very good for you and I used to drink it all the time when I was younger. As I've gotten older though I notice that I have not been drinking it daily which now that I think about it is pretty shocking. I prefer the chocolate milk like your wife. I think now that I have read this discussion I will go out and buy 2 gallons of milk for me and my children to drink with our meals. It is so much healthier than soda or juice for that matter. Have a nice day and happy myLotting!!

Why do you insist that your wife drink milk? Some people have problems taking milk and you should not force her. There are other things she can have that are just as good for her body. Does she like soy milk?
• Philippines
13 Aug 12
I insist her to because milk is healthy, one of the most common healthy drink and it is recommended by doctor since it is primarily for bones. As an adult our bones become weaker and milk will solve that to avoid weakening of legs and hunched. She hates soya and milk is the very least option

Believe it or not there are thousands of people in the world who do not drink milk and they are perfectly healthy with no weak legs or hunching. If you have your own animals that produce milk then it is like getting it for free since you don't have to spend money at the market. If you live in a big city you can get many options other than milk. Your wife will be more healthy if you find an option for calcium that she actually likes.

Thank you very much for starting this discussion, my friend. I also love milk. But now-a-days I've stopped drinking milk regularly to reduce my obesity. Of course, I can't stay a single day without having a cup of milk-tea. I think everyone who have no problem should drink milk everyday. It is a gift of Allah through nature. It's a miracle food. If we take closer look how milk is produced by mammals in their body, we feel amazed. In our religion, it is stated that milk is superior than other drinkable foods. Our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) also loved milk and sweets very much.

Thank you very much for your approach to starting up a discussion on obesity. There are sites about reducing obesity by following some specific diets. I hope your discussion will include this concern.

I drink a lot of mild. I use it in cereals and coffee and tea, hot chocolate etc. I drink it by itself in the summer. I don't drink it much in the winter because I am always cold. Sometimes depending on the expiration date I'll have a lot to get rid of. Then I'll make hot chocolate with it. A friend of mine doesn't like the taste of it and she doesn't drink it at all, that is hard for me to imagine.

clap clap clap good for you. you can drink hot milk when it is winter right? i drink hot milk in the morning so that my tummy wont ache. sometimes my tummy ache in the morning when i drink cold drinks so i drink hot milk, or coffee. it is hard to imagine that someone does not drink milk just because of the taste. there are a lot of flavors to choose already in the market. so there are no reasons anymore not to drink. thanks a lot for the response

Yes, I do, but more on the night. I drink coffee in the morning though. But I have develop this habit of putting my kids left-over milk in the morning to my coffee. At nigh though when I cannot sleep, I just drink a glass full of hot milk. It tends to get me to sleep much better.

Yes, I still drink milk. Well, not very often now. I use the milk with coffee sometimes. But it's better to drink it without anything, just clean milk. It is good for the bones, I agree with you. Also it's cleaning lots of toxic things in our body. I heard that the milk also helps when you get drunk :) So if this is true, milk clears our mind too :)

Milk is good but I think for adults, like us, we also have to be cautious about drinking it. Full cream milk is only good for kids and can be unhealthy for us. My husband used to drink full cream milk everyday and it greatly increased his cholesterol level. It would be better to drink non-fat milk or skim milk to avoid those unnecessary fats in our body...
• Philippines

I agree with you. We have to be cautious when it comes to intake of food and drinks since we are adult. We need to be more aware when it comes to our health. We drink milk that is good for the bones for elderly and it is prescribed by doctor so ours will be alright. Thanks for the reply and have a nice day !

I stopped drinking milk at age 18. I occasionally drank it mixed with something like coffee but definitely it was not a beverage that I reached for when I became thirsty. A lot of adults cannot tolerate milk or digest it fully. That applieds to me and I feel quite ill if I drink a full glass of milk.

Milk is an essential food for every age although recently some experts say it is not always so good. It depends what kind of milk you use to drink. Natural milk from a country site caw is very good but is sometimes quite fat. Milk on the market is treated before going to market. I heard that goat milk is the best. Some even say raw milk is better than boiled milk, but boiling is a precaution measure against tuberculosis bacillus. I use to drink milk 3-4 times a week.

No, I don't. I know all about how healthy it is to drink milk, but I am lactose intolerant. What milk do you drink? Bottled, dry or the real thing - directly from the cow?
• Philippines
17 Jan 10
i am not sure what is best for you, but i seen lactose free milk in the market. i think it is best for you to ask your doctor.... or maybe instead of drinking milk you can take tablets or vitamins that will going to make your bones and body healthy like the milk does. consult a doctor and i am sure they have answers to your question. thanks a lot for the response
