How many times you should revive a friendship?

I have a fried for a long time since high school. We have ups and downs especially fight and we are hurting each other's feeling, until we separate ways on college without any communication. After a while this friend of mine crawls back into my life. Should you let them again even if it will probably cause pain?

During school you were kids and now you both are grown adults so now things would have been changed. So you should give her another chance, maybe you'll enjoy her company now.So you should give her another chance.

I would say it's so much about giving her another chance but to me it's about wanting to have that bond again with someone you were so close to before. I can understand why you want that.

Unless something really big happens between you then you can always become friends again. I have had ups and downs with a few friends but we have always sorted things out. It really depends on the situation between the two of you.

Well if you both want it to work and there's no clashing that could happen if either you have changed as a person then you should certainly be able to stay friends for a long time. Good luck with it and post on mylot in a few months and let us all know how it's going.

if the other half intends to harm you or spoil you, avoiding them would be the best thing to do. but if it is just misunderstanding and ego issues, then i think your relationship definitely deserves another chance ;)
