What is your perfect comfort food? You know, that one food that makes you feel better no matter what's wrong? I have two, myself. The first is soup, particularly, a good cream based soup like corn chowder or cream of potato soup. The second one is a mashed potato sandwich. I know, it sounds weird, but there's nothing like homemade mashed potatoes on a slice of buttered white bread folded over. There's something wonderfully comforting about it. What's yours?

This may sound strange but a comfort food for me is a spaghetti sandwich. What I do is do is make a really hearty meat sauce and coat some cooked spaghetti in it. I pile a mass of pasta in between two slices of bread and add a slice of mozzarella cheese while it's still hot. It's likke a hand-held spaghetti dinner. Sometimes, I spread a little garlic butter on the bread and toast it slightly before piling on the pasta. I like a lot of sauce on me so eating it can be pretty messy. BUt so delicious!

Not strange at all, I LOVE a good spaghetti sandwich. I do mine on toast with butter and garlic on the toast, but I have to agree that they're awesome.

I dont really eat food to feel better but my best food for snuggling up and watching a movie which is comfy would be ice-cream and shortbread biscuits, not eaten together though.

If I'm looking for comfort food in the winter, it would be my spaghetti or beef vegetable soup. My husband and I could eat either of these dishes every day when it's cold outside. However, my true comfort foods if I'm being honest about it, is any kind of salad that contains mayonnaise in it: chicken, egg, tuna, ham, macaroni, or potato salad. I'm addicted to mayo, so I try to only buy the "lite" version or I would be big as a house!

without a second thought, i would say that they're chocolate and ice cream. i know they're not healthy to eat. however i have tested and proven them to have a positive effect on me when i feel sad or low. so the next time you wanna have something to eat to make you feel better, try chocolate or ice cream or both.
