Do you think ten times before pressing that 'send' button or are you always in a mighty hurry and do it and then regret that action as you felt that whatever you wrote in that mail was not what you really wanted to say? I just pressed that 'send' button and I now regret having done that as what I have written there will upset the receiver!!!

Most of the time I really think of what I send. Not to the point that I over think it mind you. I look over anything. I make sure I am clear, without any confusion. I make sure I have added all the information that I need to. Sometimes, I save the e-mail and walk away for a while, before hitting sent. Things can be said in the heat of the moment, that I might immediately regret with a clearer head. Its better to be safe than sorry after all.

Mostly I will go through once and then only press send button. But some times, without checking, I will press send button. Then I will fear if any mistake is there regarding word or spelling.

Hi I may read the mail again before pressing ‘send’ button. I am doing the same for avoiding spelling mistakes and grammatical mistakes. Then also it may be there. If we are in a hurry there is no advantage to read again, the mistakes will be there. I have done some mistakes in mylot in a hurry. Once I misplaced the answers for two different topics (I opened two discussions and typed the answer in Word format and when copy and pasting I misplaced it) It was my mistake, I forget I am working on two, and just pasted and post it without checking. Now I am checking twice before posting to avoid the mistake.

I read first before sending it, because the language I use is not the same as what I have to write so I must be careful before they are accepted my mail. I open many windows, so I can not put a sentence at random are not in place.

I always re-read whatever I send just to make it sure that I made no mistakes. If you used outlook to send that message, you can still recall it as long as the recipient hasn't open it yet.
