Hey there! I am a graduating student from the Philippines and for our final requirement in our business subject, we need to think of a business that would really click and work out. We thought about street foods. A lot of people love eating street foods but some don't eat them because there is doubt that they are clean and healthy because they are prepared on places that are dusty and where cars and people pass by. Another thing is that the utensils and cooking materials used are not properly sterilized. So we thought of putting up a restaurant type business that would sell street foods. This way, the foods are assured that they are clean and prepared well. Plus, the utensils and materials used to cook these foods are indeed sterilized and clean as well. Do you think this is a good idea? Your responses will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

If you want a minimal investment, then the street food business is quite feasible. May you have a good business project and wishing you to get good grades.

Yes, we also think it is a good idea. But we just wanted to add a little twist to it. We wanted to assure the public that unlike those sold literally on the streets, our street foods will be prepared and cooked in a way that will be safe to eat and worry free. =) thank you so much for your response.

The location is what one needs to look into before venturing into a food line. Fast food is popular among students and commuters who have no time to cook at home and so it should be close to a college or railway station. The Railways have facilities and they even rent them out. You can try that. You can also outsource to college canteens.

The key to why street foods are popular is because they are on the streets. People don't need to dress up, no lines, no chairs, cheap price, they can just eat and go. Putting a restaurant that sells street foods won't work. People would say they can get that on the street for less fuss and less price.

well you don't need to dress up to enter this type of establishment. It's basically just to assure people that the street foods would be clean and prepared well.
