Being careful not to slip

I was really careful on the icy streets and paths today. Then I slipped when I walked inside my house. I have laminate flooring and it is really slippery when it gets wet. Snow came in on the wheels of my young children's buggy. Have you ever slipped? If so where did it happen?

The last time I slipped was when I was in Baguio, the country's summer capital, with my family almost 2 years ago. My children took a bath in the bath tub. Apparently, the children didn't wash off the soap well enough. When it was my turn, sliiipped I go and bumped my lower cheeks. It was so hard that it was black and blue for days and my gums had blood spewing out during the first few minutes (sorry, too much info). Good thing my teeth are still intact. We still enjoyed our 3 days vacation, thank God! So everyone, learn from my experience, always put a rubber mat to avoid that situation. Take care!

I have slipped on the icy before, but I don't think I have ever fallen all the way down. My uncle slipped getting out of his truck the other day and hit his head on the runner board of his truck and got knocked out. He bled pretty good and ended up with 8 stitches in the back of his head. Ice can be very dangerous.

Twice!! I was doing some renovations in my house and there was some algae on the terrace floor which I did not see. My dog came to the terrace where the workers were and I do not normally allow her there as she has the tendency to peep over. I ran to fetch her and I had a nasty fall. I had to be on antibiotics as my lip was injured. I am very light on my feet and once again I tripped in my garden but nothing serious though.
