If you believe the Christian Bible, you don't need to worry about the end of the word because Jesus sets up His thousand year reign on earth after the Tribulation period. So, the world has at least 1000 more years of existence.

I was raised in a religious cult...the end of the world was suppose to come every few years according to them... Now I just do not buy into all that stuff anymore. I think we should do what we can to take care of the earth. As for 2012....it was the end of the Mayan calender and people think that has some great importance. How far out were they suppose to make the calender anyway??? The movie sounds interesting but I do not take it as 'gospel' that the world is ending. However, the world as we know it these days, with all the poverty, sickness, greed, bigotry and economic crisis...needs to end! We as a species, are way too smart to live so foolishly! Have a great day!

don't get confused it's just a film, in future definitely the world will end ,but not in 2012,a normal person can't predict about the world will end or not,a humankind create by god, so human kind can't predict any such discussion about the world's future.
