Do You Have Any Memory Foam Products? Any Good?

The only memory foam product I have are - believe it or not, a pair of slippers! The sole underneath is hard rubber but the bit my feet rest on is memory foam. The feet are covered over the top with a furry-type material and the memory foam itself has this material covering it as well. Anyway...enough of trying to describe them (not doing a very good job, sorry)
but what I know for sure is that they're probably the best pair of slippers I've ever had. Should be for £16!!!
I'm now dying to know what the bigger things like Memory Foam Mattresses are like.

The only memory foam product that I possess a pillow. This is an excellent foam and certainly worth the type of cost involved, but that only applies if you can actually afford to pay that level of cost.
I used to work at a company that manufactured memory foam and then converted in into mattresses, so I am fully aware of the high quality of it. Despite that I am still reluctant to spend so much money on a single item and will keep to the standard mattresses for the present.

I believe there are memory foam mattress toppers now for those of us who cannot afford a memory foam mattress. Mind you, they're not cheap either so I've had to make do with a bog-standard quilted one instead.

I thought you might because the memory foam has the same effect on my feet in their lovely, comfy slippers.

Well, I did take a chance with the slippers as I bought them online. At the time I couldn't find any slippers on the High Street (as it was before Christmas so there weren't any) so I decided to buy some from a well-respected brand called Clarkes that has an online store. I did not realise until I received them that there was memory foam embedded into the sole...so I went onto the site again and, sure enough, someone had written a review about the same slippers and said how comfy they were...and she's right, they are! I would love to own a memory foam mattress too but I believe the "mixed" ones are just as good i.e. coiled springs AND memory foam. A brand called Silentnight makes them and I wish I could sleep on one right now to be honest!

I have a slab of memory foam that I put on my bed. I began doing this two years ago and am addicted to my bed now. I cant honestly say it was probably the best $60 I ever did spend.

Excellent! I am so pleased that the slab of memory foam has worked for you and $60 doesn't seem so bad, especially since it seems to work.

I only have a memory pillow which is great. I have slept on a memory mattress that my parents have. It was so comfortable, I just wish I could afford one. Even though my parents say they are tired of it now after about 8 years.

I think memory foam has actually improved over the years. It was deemed a bit naff at the start, some kind of gimmick..but these days they seem to be more popular than ever. It's just a shame they are so expensive, even moreso than "regular" mattresses that have been known to last even longer than 8 years. Just ask my Dad!
