Watsonville Woman Runs Over Boyfriend, Police Say

WATSONVILLE, Calif- Thursday Renee Delisle ran over her 26 year-old ex-boyfriend after they got into a fight, police say.
Renee fled in her vehicle and police were unable to locate her until the next day. Detectives located Delisle's vehicle on the 2800 Block of Capitola Rd. With the assistance of the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department, Renee was located at a friend's residence and arrested without incident. Her vehicle was taken for evidence.
Renee declined to talk to investigators and was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on charges of attempt murder with a vehicle.
The victim has non-life threatening injuries and is being treated in a bay area hospital.

I feel that hurting someone because you are mad at them is too extreme. It is hard to say how anyone would react when they are mad. Who has not thought about doing something like that. It is one thing to have thoughts, but it is another to actually do it.

Back when I had a boyfriend, sometimes I would have probably liked to run his annoying butt over..But the difference in thinking this and doing this is a HUGE one. We all have impulses..We just need to learn to control them and be law-abiding citizens. Apparently this Renee chick didn't get that, though.
