John Carpenter's " THE FOG ", 1980

I'm just going to bed now. But before I start sleeping I'm going to watch a good horror movie. This one is something new for me! It's called " THE FOG " and it's directed by John Carpenter. As I see Carpenter here I think the movie is supposed to be real good. Well, I know Carpenter's trying to copy Stephen King's movie style most of the time. But It's good alternative.
You see it's 1980. Maybe you remember that there was movie with the same title few years ago. I'm interested - Is this supposed to be the original " THE FOG " movie? I'll see very soon! Then I'll be able to share it with you!
Did you watched John Carpenter's " THE FOG " ? Did watched Carpenter movies already? What's your opinion? Carpenter's good or not?
My favorite Carpenter's movie is " In the mouth of Madness ". Great movie!

Hi, stand87. I have seen this movie, I think. I know that there was one in the 1970s. It looked like it was in this year. Or it could have been the 1980 movie. I liked this movie. It was very scary to watch.
I also like the newer version of this movie too. John Carpenter does make some great horror movies. He is well known for making interesting movies that excite people. I don't know all of the names of his movies, but I do know that I like most of the movies that he directs.

hi stand 87 wow that was a g reat movie still remember parts of it and it was fantastic , I think that was the original as I do not remember seeing the one in 1980. Carpenter is very good if all his movies are as good as that one was. I loved that movie
and am trying to remember where I saw that as my husband was still alive,so it hard telling now we were in some many different apartments. I do remember all three of us enjoyed it so much, and we three watched it together.thanks for reminding me of that really great movie.

Hi stand, I couldn't think of anything I'd like less than watching a horror movie before going to sleep. Actually, thing The Fog is one of the few horror movies I have seen. Not my cup of tea. Enjoy and sleep well.

I watched THEY LIVE. Absolutely great film, I recommend it. They name it thriller, SF, dark comedy, whatever. It's very intelligent film. It is interesting for those who like action and excitement, but it's highly intelligent movie, which shows how the mass media change people's mind.
