Pat opened up his big mouth again and (you better sit down, you will be surprised by this one) he said something stupid again. Today, he said that the people of Haiti were being punished by God because they made a "pact with the devil".
My question is: What did all of us do to God to make him punish us with Pat Robertson?

What a dirtbag he is. I hate when ignorant people say outrageous things like that and then get attention instead of being snubbed and ignored. I would love to be a fly on the wall when he reaches the Pearly Gates.

Debater, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to copy your topic when I started my discussion about Limbaugh and Robertson! Actually, my first thought was to just do it about Rush but then when I saw the audio of both of them on one website I thought I'd mention them both. Anyway, you took yours in a different direction with your question at the end which I sure can't answer! The only ones I can think of who deserve such punishment would be...Pat and Rush!!

I agree with that one Annie. I really wish that God would return to earth while we are still alive to answer these age old questions like why haven't you shut Robertson up, and what were you thinking when you created the platypus. It think it would be very interesting.

Yes, he did say this, and NO one knows what goes through this nut jobs head. I do think it would be interesting to know how he REALLY feels about things. We all hold things back that we believe in, I would love to know what he is holding back.

Was he the one that said Hurricane Katrina was a Punishment to New Orleans for the something or another? I know some made that stupid remark... but I can't remember who.
THis man is a nut job and need to be ignored in my opinion.

Oh how horrible. What a thing to say. I can't believe how stupid he could be to make such an ugly statement as that. He will be in big trouble over that one. How sick and demented he is. What makes people say the things they say. I guess its all stupidity and ignorance.

Just a thought, but what if God moved his hand of protection and Satan was allowed a little leeway. Satan's aim, according to the Bible, is to kill, steal and destroy. I'm not agreeing with Pat, but I do believe the Bible and also that he wasn't maliciously speaking against Haiti when he said that.

He told a "story" about Haiti where as they made a pact with the devil to end their occupation. He made a point to say this is a "true story", now he said that this happened in early 1800's, so we all know that he wasn't there to see for himself, but I can't believe someone would believe that story.
I can't believe that more people haven't called for his removal from the airwaves, and religious leaders denouncing his comments. But, I guess that is to much to ask for.
