Hi
This is such a shameful incident.
Last night,I went to fill petrol in my car.Once done I went inside to pay for paid for it.there was a lady standing with a five or a six year old boy who bought a icecream,The lady paid for the icecream and the retail assistant gave her little boy a free calender.The lasy said to her son to say Thanks,...When the little boy didn't respond she lashed out at him saying "Say Thankyou and she said the "F" word.
I was so shocked,and even the retail attendent.
On one hand she is trying to teach him manners and on the other she is teaching him the forbidden words.
I wonder what will that little boy grow up into??????

I guess people forget that children learn from what parents do, not what parents tell them to do.
I wonder why she got so upset if the kid just didn't want to say thank you.
perhaps he was giving her really bad attitude. but even then that doesn't call for the F word. I suppose she'll regret her actions when he starts using it on her. then she only has herself to blame.

Why didn,t you slap her. That is no way to teach your children manners. She should have taken the ice cream away. Paid for or not. It is parents like that, who shape their children in becoming rude and not having respect for their parents, fellow humans and not even for themselves. Does she know that between the age of 2 and 8 is the most dangerous stages of children learning and shaping themselves?

sad isn't it? how people have the wrong idea about raising children. if you want them to behave in a certain way i was always taught to lead by example. one more shameful thing that makes me wonder to whether to put my child through home schooling because you know these kids will be the ones to influence others.
