I am totally opposed to abortion, partial birth, or any kind of abortion, in my opinion it is murder, a baby is a human life, it isn't a thing. God has a reason for all creation, you may not see it, but it will show in time. I think that adoption is a way better option than abortion, there are lots of people who can not have children for many different reasons and being able to adopt a child is the greatest gift that these people could ever even hope for. Every abortion is like ripping a baby out of their arms.

Welcome to mylot, wiggins...I hope you enjoy the website. Although I, personally, would not have an abortion I do support the right of other women to have this option legally available to them. No one can walk in anyone else's shoes and many times the situation is more complex than having the baby and either keeping it or giving it up for adoption. I do not, however, support a woman's right to have a late term abortion...also known as partial birth. I believe that this procedure should be outlawed except in cases where the mother's life and/or health is in danger.

partial birth abortion angers me greatly. regular abortion is one thing, I guess; but partial birth abortion is infanticide in my opinion. sucking the brains out of a newborn and killing him or her that way is no different than what the nazis did to the jews during world war 2.those that practice partial birth abortion should be put in front of a firing squad.

Hi wiggins, I agree with you, an abortion is equal to kill a baby in hand. The only difference is we can’t see the unborn baby directly. Abortion is banned by Law in our country, only permitted under law on special circumstances like disability of child etc. But it is true that abortions are going on illegally and nobody is there to take care of the Law. In my opinion each and every individual should realize the importance and never allow killing an unborn child. Then we don’t need any Law to prevent us. I am also strongly standing against the abortion.

Abortion is simply a crime. I guess everyone takes responsibility in educating people to be aware of the outcome of their deed. Aside from all commercials of birth control pills i guess educating people from schools is also a step to avoid future problem.

Just like you, I am against abortion.Life is a gift given by God.The opportunity to live in this earth is a blessing and a manifestation of the love of God for us.Since our life is a gift and borrowed from the creator, we don't have the right to hinder a spirit to come to earth to have a body and enjoy the gift of life.

I support abortion. I do not believe in god so I do not think god created the baby, a sperm and an egg did. So a baby is not a gift, but a creation. If the creators want to destroy their creation, then that is their own choice. People should not judge because of others choices. If you feel your not ready for a child, your not ready for a child. Pregnancy is hard. You gain weight, have morning sickness, get cravings, swollen body parts, ect. You even have to eventually take off work to have the baby. Some people have lives that do not have time for this. If you are living on your own, and you need that job, or your own the streets, then you should get an abortion, because you would not be able to be off work during the recovery factor of birth, even if you give your child up for adoption.

I just hope that people doing it including the abortionist should go to jail and have a life sentence. But their are also abortions done medically if it endangered the life of both the baby and the mother, so it will be justified. But those who commit abortions for no valid reasons aside from money, money and money should rot in jail. I just hope that no countries would legalize this selfless act of killing.

I'll rest my case. I think its too sensitive to discuss further between people in which one had been there, while me is simply referring to other people's personal accounts and observations.

in my point of view it is considered as a murder.because god creates the mankind,he knows every thing what we don't know.but in my villages their peoples are following the rules of female infanticide, but our government has implemented the strict act on this.

Please don't take my response the wrong way but I feel this is a rather one-sided discussion. I know several people who have had to go through abortions and you can't know anything about how they felt about this difficult decision. There are situations when to continue the pregnancy would threaten to life of the mother, instances when the pregnancy is the outcome of a rape and instances when scans show that the child would be so severely disabled that they would have a very poor quality of life. One can't say all abortion is wrong, there are some circumstances when it's the only path a woman can take.

I don't agree with abortion. I wouldn't ever have an abortion. I was offered an abortion at 36 weeks pregnancy because my son is disabled. I said no way and he was able to be born. He had two operations. Now he is a happy little two year old. 98% of abortions in my home country are for social or economical reasons. 2% of abortions are because the mother's life is in danger or the baby if born will be severely disabled. I wish that adoption become an easier process and then it would become more popular. My mom's friend was unable to get pregnant and she adopted two lovely children. Those children are now grown up.

Hello wiggins6 truely stated its also considered as an crime, in our normal senses, abortions is an unhuman crime.Nobody have the right to decide whether an unborn live is to be terminated. This practices predicts only illeteracy among us, and also low living human beings.Well according to me rising populations is also an imp factor to be considered, but in form of family planning, as its an proper way to control the populations and not the abortion.Yeah me too think that instead of going for abortion let the infant born and later let it be adopted, atleast he will have his right to live.Anyways family planning is an good process to go with, Happy mylotting.

Hi Wiggins I think aborting a baby is equal to a sin. You have no right to abort the baby, instead it is better you don't be pregnant. People who really want to have children don't have them but when God has given a chance to give birth to the baby people want to abort any reason it may be. I would suggest all the mothers who ever want to abort, not to abort and be careful from nexttime and don't have any baby if it is unwanted.

i definitely agree with you. thhese babies do not deserve to be killed. they didnt want to be alive in the first place. people should be responsible for their actions. the least they can do is to continue with pregnancy and deliver the child to this world. i believe there are a lot of parents who change their minds after seeing the baby but if they dont, they can always send the child for adoption. there are people in this world who are willing to take the responsibility that the real parents lacked.

a pregnant person wants to abort which shows this person has no any sence of responsibility. if she didn't abort, and the baby was given birth to, the baby would be also unfortunate in my opinion, because his/her parents are not responsible.

I totally do not agree on abortion of whatever kind. It is a crime against God and man. It is God's blessings, not everybody is blessed to have their own baby however they would want to, so we should be lucky if we get pregnant whatever way it has happen. Be it conceived out of love or lust, the baby has the right to live and see the wonderful world we're living in to. We are only humans and therefore have no right to kill the innocent babies. We should be also aware of the word "karma"!

i have read this magazine on abortion. yes! it is a very very big sin. because you killed an innocent human being, God created. even if it still one month and a week old, the baby is already formed. the size of the nail of your smallest finger he is. to think you wanted to abort the child because of unwanted pregnancy. or reputation. if you had him aborted, and someday everyone will know, the reputation will be more ruined. unwanted pregnancy? TSSS... aborting the first baby is useless coz you will someday, get pregnant at the right time!!! life is indeed too short but because of your conscience you feel like the world is really spinning that slow.

HI! I don't accept it, just because I think it is a kill! I mean with the abortion you kill your own child, no matter it is not born, it is inside you and it can become a great person, but you don't give it the chance to become one! ABortion is something very bad! We also haven't got the power and right to decide for this. God is the only one who give and take lifes, and that is his part. Only he can decide if the unborn baby must die or not!
